The Monadnock Sunapee Greenway Trail Club (MSGTC) was formed in the Fall of 1994. Our mission is to continue trail maintenance efforts, support our volunteers, trail adopters and promote awareness of this beautiful, remote, well kept secret - "The Greenway". This Club hopes to build local and regional recognition of its existence and mission to promote the Greenway. We hope that through our efforts this club will be able to continue the tradition that our predecessors established. We welcome anyone interested in learning more about hiking, outdoor recreation, education in trail maintenance and will show support for our club and the Greenway. For additional information concerning the club or the trail, write to: MSGTC Or via email:

Steve Galpin 1957-2008
The MSGTC is mourning the loss of Steve Galpin who died on September 29, 2008. Steve was one of the founding fathers of the Club back in 1992, he served many roles, President, VP, and Trailmaster for many years. Because of people like Steve, everyone has the Greenway trail to hike on, a view to look at and a shelter to sleep in. Steve was a committed volunteer to this Trail Club and the great outdoors.
We've lost a good friend who will be missed dearly.
