The Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway Trail Club (MSGTC) in conjunction with the town of Washington’s Parks and Recreation and Conservation Commissions will be hosting workshops for training/educating of trail volunteers on proper techniques of hiking trail maintenance including installing rock steps, installing water bar drains, building small bridges, etc.

If you’ve ever wondered how these things get done, here’s your chance to learn hands on.

For those less adventurous a fun hike in Washington’s Town Forest is planned.

What to Bring:
Volunteers should bring work boots and gloves, a change of clothes, water, and bug spray (black fly season). Trail maintenance tools will be provided. Pizza will be served after the workday back at Camp Morgan Lodge (2:30pm).
